Beautiful coastline & hot water beach On north island NZ

After egg and toast breakfast, we drove to the winy glorious coastline 2 hrs south of Auckland. Amazing torquier color of the ocean and landscapes.   New Zealanders, including the road repair crew, are kind and friendly and greeting visitors with big smile.

We had lunch as a famous seafood restaurant King mussels and enjoyed the food in the lovely yard in a relaxing atmosphere.

Like hundreds of other visitors, we used a rental spacer to dig a tub size hole on the Hot Water Beach for lying in the saltwater heated by the geo thermal passage under the beach. Some of us jumped back and forth between the cool ocean and hot water hike like Norwegian Sunna.

It is the tail of high tourist season near the Hot Water Beach so we had to check in a holiday park (like Kio campground in USA) and slept in the car.  We did not have a pot so bought some food to go with the bread bought in supermarket for dinner. We walked to the beach nearby the campground to gaze the Milky Way and photos. It was hard to share the space in the car with a vacuous mosquito, but I managed to sleep about 5 hours.
