Australian War Memorial

I woke up to get ready for hiking up to the Mount Ainsile (843m) to enjoy the views of Canberra and checking out the Australian War Memorial which has many interactive exhibits, features portraits that are video as well as paintings, and I took a free tour but I do d not have time for every evening ceremony at dusk. I also had fun at the discovery zone.

I finally managed to reunion with my travelmate who I toured Hvar Island in Croatia in 2015 on motorbikes，and we walked the Bicentennial Coastal Walk - Narrabeen Beach to Warriewood Beach, and parts of the Narrabeen Lagoon bush trail in the suburb of Sydney. I travel overseas 2-3 months each year to experience multicultural life.  Most recent 2.5 month AU/NZ/SI/TW (March-May, 2018). Maitreya Great Tao Conplex 天恩彌勒佛院

Emei Township was originally named from the curved crescent moon shape of the Emei Stream (峨眉溪). The tourist attractions include Emei Lake, Erliao Divien Tree, Fuxing Old Street, Mount Shitou, Qixing Camphor Tree, Qixing Tree, Shierliao Leisure Agricultural Region, Xi Mao Bu Hanging Bridge, and the Maitreya Great Tao Conplex that has a Maitreya stature bigger than the Stature of Liberty outside of the New York City Horbor.  According to Buddhist tradition, Maitreya is a bodhisattva who will appear on Earth in the future, achieve complete enlightenment, and teach the pure dharma. According to scriptures, Maitreya will be a successor to the present Buddha, Gautama Buddha.  There are quite a few self-proclaimed Maitreya around the world. I have no idea and do not care who is the Maitreya if it actually exists. Yet I recommend to check out Maitreya Great Tao Conplex which is free and pretty impressive. Be mindful about the open hours and dress code (no sandals, etc.).
