Way to Dunedin

After the group of four from China left, me, Kay and Helen continued our journey to Dunedin, the second-largest city and one of the main ports on the South Island of New Zealand, located in the Otago region. It is known as the Edinburgh of the South and is proud of its Scots heritage.

We could not find reasonably priced   Rental car in Queenstown, so we took 7:50 am bus for 4 hours to Dunedin airport to pick up a rental car, and toured Glenfalloch Gard b & Restaurant (a beautiful restaurant set in a historic woodland garden on Dunedin’s stunning Otago Peninsula), the Larnach Castle (as "the only castle" in New Zealand, but technically only a manor house), and my favorite Tunnel beach (look like Twelve Apostles near Melbourne but much more easily accessible) with a story goes that crazy old Cargill had a steep tunnel cut through the stone cliff, so his daughter could go to the beach.

We stay in a cabin in Dunedin Holiday Park  on Otago Peninsula and cooked ourselves giant mussel  Spaghetti (less than $3 USD per kg). Yum.
